’round the Fire April 24th, 2022

Updated: Sep 21, 2022

Welcome to ‘Round the Fire where we look at what happened this week. I have all the posts on the blog recorded for the podcast. They are in editing and many will be uploaded this week, maybe even all of them, we will see. Anchor through Spotify, where the podcast is hosted, now allows video uploads which means I will be loading the A Moment series directly to the podcast.

Herbers, this week you saw three new posts; they are my notes from the Herbal Entrepreneur Conference I attended last month. There were many great speakers and information shared (Course Notes where removed on the site redesign).

In the video series, “A Moment” this week we spent time with Valerian, Pineapple Sage, and Marshmallow. Get Comfortable featured Comfrey.

These video series are geared for those of you who don’t have access to these plants, either because they don’t grow around you or for other reasons but would still like to be able to participate with the plants in this manner.

That takes us through Friday, which of course was Filter Friday, this week’s filter lets you put Burdock flowers on your cheek. Head over to arizkattsherbs on Instagram to view this filter and others.

Other things that happened this week but haven’t made it to the site yet

I set up reporting in the database making posting both normal posts and ’round the Fire post much easier and quicker to create.

I spent Earth Day relocating plants from a development site to my yard. It was a wonderful day and I brought home many new friends.

It was a very busy week of recording, four “Get Comfortable” episodes, twelve “A Moment” episodes, and forty-nine podcast episodes; also got four “A Moment” episodes ready for posting.

That wraps up this episode of ‘Round the Fire, join me again next week for another episode. In the meantime, you can find everything we talked about on the website, arizkattsherbs.com. Take care and see you soon.
