Around 81% of our orders are delivered within the same region they’re fulfilled in. Having fulfillment centers close to our customers is good for both the business and the planet. • How do you ensure organic or recycled material content in your eco-friendly products?
Products in our eco-friendly product collection consist of at least 70% organic or recycled materials or such material blends. To verify material content, our printer collects valid certificates from our suppliers. As proof of the organic composition of the apparel products, we only accept GOTS or OCS certificates. For recycled composition, we accept either GRS or RCS certificates. GLOBAL ORGANIC TEXTILE STANDARD (GOTS) The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent third-party certification of the entire textile supply chain. This standard also sets limitations on other fibers that can be blended with organic fibers. Organic Content Standard (OCS) The Organic Content Standard (OCS) is a certification for non-food goods that confirms the organic material presence in the final product. It also follows the supply chain from its source to the final product. Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) The Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) and Global Recycled Standard (GRS) are international, voluntary standards that set requirements for third-party certification of recycled content and supply chain. The shared goal of the standards is to increase the use of recycled materials. The GRS includes additional criteria for social and environmental processing requirements and chemical restrictions.

  • What are Formulations?
Formulations are things I make for specific people or a specific reason. There is more thought, research, and math involved with formulas than with recipes. Suppose a formula is for a person or pet. In that case, I share their general makeup, what issues they are presenting with, and what we will do about it (I do not disclose identifying information or any information without the person’s consent). Most include the reason or thought process behind them.
  • What are Recipes?
Recipes are done mostly on the fly and/or by the folk method. Most of these come from days when I want to make something and I just start pulling herbs out of the cabinet that "speak" to me. Sometimes things that start as recipes turn into formulations. This happens when I decide I like it and want the same result every time.
  • What is a Monograph?
Monographs are colletions of herbal information about a perticular herb or plant. They vary from author to author on what is included. The ones here include the basic information that you see in posts and on products, plus a lot more. My monographs are a bit different from others in the fact that they link to the information instead of listing it, the listed information is my personal experiences with the plant.
  • What are Herb Walk Notes?
When I attend Herb Walks or host them, I type up what plants we saw and talked about along with pictures. Hopefully, this will help both of us learn plant identification skills.
