Get Comfortable with Strawberry

Updated: Sep 21, 2022

Today we “Get Comfortable” with the Strawberry. This strawberry hasn’t been with us long. We got her just a month or so ago from Lowes. I had plans to go help with plant relocation that day but other things came up. One of those things landed me at Lowes and since I had plants on the brain I went straight to the garden center. I picked up this strawberry and a few other things.

Given how much she has grown, I’m going to have to put a pot under her to start planting the runners. I did try cutting off a few runners and putting them in the Aero Garden but that doesn’t seem to be going so well. They all look like they are starting to die. If I have time today I’m going to pot any of the runners still alive in the Aero Garden and going forward, runners go into dirt, not the Aero Garden.

“Get Comfortable” is an in-depth look at the plant and each part that makes up the plant while noting all the features one sees. We visit the same plants from the “A Moment” series, this time doing about ten to fifteen minute, visual plant sit meditations with the plant. Currently, the videos are recorded one month in advance and released every Wednesday. Click here to view the rest of the series.
