Bath Salts…No Not That Kind

Updated: Sep 19, 2022

I decided that since I have a few people in my life who like baths I would try my hand at bath salts, you know the things you add to your bath, not the kind that’s a drug. I point this out since my oldest looked at me strangely when I told him what I was making, then asked me “no, really”, so I had to explain.

I’m not a big bath taker, this might have to do with the fact that most places we have lived have had normal-size tubs and I don’t find sitting mostly out of the water a fun or relaxing experience. At our current house, we have a huge garden tub, this has not really inspired me to take baths on a normal basis since it takes 30-45 mins to fill it and the water is only warm not hot by the time it fills. But in my classes we have talked about bath salts and baths many times I keep thinking maybe I can find a way to like them more.

Which is the main reason I decided to make bath salts. I have to say, I loved the bath I took with them. It did make me want to take a bath more but so far I haven’t done so.
