Field Tincture

Unleash the power of nature with a hands-on tincture workshop. Come take a short herb walk to learn about the plants around us, then create your own field/fresh tincture to take home. 

What To Expect

When you arrive you will be directed to a parking space.  You can head into the classroom area and put your items down or hang outside while we wait for the rest of the participants.  We will start with introductions and a short herb walk where we will gather the plant material we will use to make our tinctures.  Then we will head into the classroom for a discussion and create our tinctures with the plant material collected and ethanol as our solvent. Each person will make their tincture in the provided 4 oz jar. 

Take Homes

4 oz of macerating Tincture in provided containers and a handout of what we covered in the workshop.

All materials needed to create a field tincture, including take-home containers and a handout reviewing what was covered in this workshop. 

What You Need To Bring

Clippers, Notebook, Pen, or Pencil

Level Of Activity and Skill Needed

Designed for beginners, no prior herbal or plant experience is needed, so you can jump right in! This workshop is two hours long, and most of that time is spent standing, walking, and creating herbal products. 

Min age of guests

This workshop is geared toward people 13 years of age and older.
