Our Herbal Hydrosol & Herbal Protein Ball service is the perfect way to introduce your guests to the world of herbalism! We provide all the materials needed for each guest to make their own hydrosol and herbal protein balls. Our hands-on experience includes a handout with the recipes, and our service comes to you! Our workshops last for two hours and are sure to be a hit with your guests. Location Your location; must be within a 40-mile radius of Main & Maybank on Johns Island. Min age of guests This workshop is geared toward people 13 years of age and older. If you would like this workshop for a younger group, please contact me. Items Provided All materials needed to create hydrosol and herbal protein balls, including take-home containers and a handout reviewing what was covered in this workshop. Need Available at the Location A large kitchen works best for this but any area with a countertop or tabletop space for you and your guests to gather around and use food processors will work. Also, need an area to set up the hot plate and distiller. Access to a restroom and/or freezer would be preferred. Each Guest Will Need Notebook, Pen, or Pencil Level Of Activity and Skill Needed Designed for beginning learners. No prior herbal or plant experience is needed, so you can jump right in! This workshop is two hours long, and most of that time is spent standing, walking, and creating herbal products. What To Expect When I arrive, you will show me the area we will be using for the workshop. I will need this area clean and ready for me to set up the distiller and food processors. We will gather in the area you have selected, and the group will introduce themselves (including you and me). Afterward, we will start by setting up the distiller, reviewing the hydrosol handout, and getting the hydrosol going. While the hydrosol is going, we will make herbal protein balls. You chose the ingredients during registration, now we will put them together using the food processors. When we have finished making the herbal protein balls and boxed them up for each guest to take with them, the hydrosol should be done. At this point, we will jar up a bit for each guest and clean up after ourselves.
