  • Salve Workshop

    Join me for a hands-on Salve Workshop where you’ll learn the basics of making your own herbal salve. In this one-hour class, participants will be guided step-by-step through the process of creating a simple herbal salve using hot plates and double boilers. You’ll learn about the ingredients used, the basic method, and tips for making salves at home. Each participant will make and take home one 1 oz container of herbal salve (a $24 value) and receive a handout reviewing what was covered in class. This workshop is designed for beginners, and no prior herbal experience is needed. Group Size: Limited to 12 participants Minimum Age: 13+ (Contact me to discuss workshops for younger groups) Materials Provided: All supplies needed to create your salve, including ingredients, equipment, take-home containers, and a printed handout. About the Instructor Athena has studied herbalism for over 20 years and has extensive teaching experience with private classes, corporate workshops, and homeschool groups. She enjoys helping others connect with plants and learn practical herbal skills they can use at home.

  • Infused Oil

    Learn the basics of herbal oil infusion in this hands-on workshop designed for beginners. During this one-hour class, you’ll discover how herbs are traditionally infused into oils and how these preparations can be used as the foundation for many herbal remedies and body care products. Participants will learn simple infusion methods, discuss commonly used herbs, and create their own infused oil to take home. You’ll also make a small herbal lotion, giving you a chance to see how infused oils can be used in everyday herbal preparations. All materials are provided, including herbs, oils, containers for your finished products, and a handout reviewing what was covered in class. This workshop is ideal for those who are new to herbal medicine making and want a practical introduction in a relaxed, small-group setting.   • Herb Walk

    Join me for a guided Herb Walk and spend an enriching hour in nature exploring the medicinal uses of our local plants. This relaxed, small-group experience is designed to help you build confidence in identifying common plants and understanding how they have been traditionally used for wellness. We will gather at the shelter on the Green Pond end of the ACE Basin Greenway, introduce ourselves, and begin our walk together. Along the way, we’ll stop to observe and discuss the plants we encounter, learning about their identifying features, medicinal properties, and practical applications. Group Size Limited to a maximum of 10 participants to ensure a personalized, hands-on experience. Age Requirements This walk is geared toward ages 13 and older. If you are interested in bringing a younger participant(s), please get in touch with me directly.
